Thank you again for being a founding member of Allstarcharts India. You came at a good time – the early stages of the build out of this Technical Analysis Research Platform. As you can see, the Monthly Conference Calls have been live and archived each month so far this year. We will continue with this routine every month moving forward and you can access all of them here: January 2018 and February 2018.
In the next couple of weeks you will be seeing several additions to the platform for Premium Members including several additional notes per week, an enhanced trade ideas page and an expansion of the Chartbook. We’re really looking forward to this expansion that we have been working on for a long time. Thanks for your patience!
In the meantime, we have two new podcast episodes out this week on Technical Analysis Radio. I encourage you to go listen both of these conversations for different reasons!
Louise Yamada has been an inspiration to me for my entire career. Bringing nearly 4 decades of experience as a technical analyst, Louise adds a unique perspective on markets that makes her the perfect compliment to some of the younger guests that we’ve had on the podcast. In this conversation we talk about the long-term cycles of interest rates and precious metals going back almost 100 years. While we do dive into these longer time horizons, in this episode Louise also gives us her short-term take on U.S. Stocks, Gold, Bitcoin and even lays out her favorite strategy for the Bond Market right now. You can listen to this episode here: Louise Yamada Episode 20
Andrew Thrasher is the ideal guest to have on the podcast this month. His expertise in Volatility made him the 2017 Charles Dow Award winner, ironically the year that the US Stock market saw the lowest volatility on record. Today, Andrew is an Indianapolis-based Portfolio Manager at The Financial Enhancement group and we’re thrilled to have him on the show. In this episode, Andrew walks us through the Volatility spike in early February, some of the things that accelerated the move and what we should expect moving forward. We discuss his thoughts on market breadth, internals and sector rotation. This is a timely conversation with one of the smart ones! You can listen to this episode here: Andrew Thrasher Episode 21
I hope you enjoy these two podcasts as much as I enjoyed recording them!
